What BWRT® stands for
BWRT® stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. Like many other modern therapies, it allows a ‘core of privacy’ so that you do not have to divulge anything you would rather not talk about – in fact, the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead.
As a psychotherapeutic technique
BWRT® as a psychotherapeutic technique is powerful, rapid and highly effective – it brings about change and relief in symptoms over a short space of time. Using BWRT® at my practice, I have seen the remarkable impact it has had on a wide range of challenges faced by my clients, some of which include:
- Depression
- Anxiety (Panic attacks, Generalized Anxiety, Performance Anxiety)
- PTSD and Trauma
- Grief
- Loss
- Phobias and Fears
- Poor Self-confidence and Self-worth
- Relationship challenges
- Guilt
- OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)
- Alcoholism
- Substance Abuse
- Addiction (Sexual, Gambling, etc)
- Emotional Eating
- Stress and Burnout
- Lack of motivation
